Johnson’s partying demonstrates that the government’s Covid information can’t be trusted. The very people telling us it was too dangerous to meet up were in fact happy to meet up.

This suggests that the fear they were instilling in people around the country was not something they felt themselves.

These were the people at the top of government, with easy access to the actual data about covid. They were not relying on what the government said, but were instead the people deciding what the government said.

They were pushing a message of fear, yet if they were truly frightened they would have rushed home after having to spend the day at Number Ten. Instead they drank wine and munched crisps together. These are not the actions of people frightened they may catch a virus that may kill them.

Any trust in the government to tell the truth has disintegrated. We are left bereft of guidance, unable to trust governmental advice.

NHS staff to be sacked for not taking vaccines. More nonsensical government policy examined by The Freedom Show

The Freedom Show – libertarian-leaning animated discussion show about the madness of life all around.

Today we are discussing the government mandating vaccines for NHS health staff. They will be sacked in April next year if they haven’t had a vaccine, which is ludicrous, because what exactly changes next year in April? How will the NHS cope with even fewer staff? We are constantly told it is under pressure already. If the government sacks these people then it can never again complain that the NHS is overwhelmed.

Flu deaths to rise: here come the terrible side effects of the terrible lockdown diktats

Figures quoted in the media are invariably inaccurate, so when the news announces that deaths from flu ‘could hit 60,000’ this winter it is vital to take the actual number with the usual pinch of salt. But the fact that flu deaths are going to go up, even if not to the levels claimed, is alarming.

The reasons given for this increase in deaths? Lockdown and social distancing.

When lockdown was instigated there was no cost-benefit analysis done at all. If there had been then this is exactly the sort of thing that would have been examined. Lockdown has caused a huge backlog in operations and caused many people to be given much worse diagnoses than if they had been able to see a doctor earlier.

The flu jab that is given every year will be less efficacious, again because lockdown meant that there wasn’t enough flu going around for scientists to create the best possible injection.

This could come under the heading ‘Huge and Unexpected Side-effects of Lockdown’, but the side effects should have been researched and cannot be dismissed as unexpected. It was obvious that locking people in their houses would have a raft of terrible effects, effects that are just beginning to appear.

We won’t get apologies for the economy-destroying, life-sapping, life-taking lockdowns of the last two years, but we must have an acknowledgement of their damage and an undertaking: Lockdown must never be inflicted on the population again.

Democracy died in Wales last night

Last night the Welsh parliament voted to go full totalitarian by implementing vaccine passports. These usher in a Chinese Communist Party style control of the population that should never be seen in a Western democracy. People in Wales will not be able to attend certain events unless their vaccine passport has the right details. For now the government is locking people out of big events, but the system will be in place to micromanage where everyone is allowed to go on a daily basis.

That is bad enough, but the way it happened is even worse. Owing to technological difficulties one member was unable to vote. The Parliament made no allowance for this. The motion carried by ONE vote. ie- this terrible policy was not even the will of the parliament.

This policy would have been outrageous if it had passed fairly, but to be implemented like this shows that the UK is descending into banana republic territory.

Vaccine passports are a sign of governmental overreach and a fundamental misunderstanding of a government’s role in a Western democracy. This vote must be reversed, and nothing like it must ever be implemented in any of the constituent parts of the UK.

Italy: VAX pass or die: How to foment civil unrest

Italy slips further down the authoritarian path by stopping unvaccinated from working

Italy is acting as the canary in the coalmine, showing us the poison that is moving our way in the rest of the West.

Reports say that Italy is going to insist that workers have the vaccine passport, or they will not be allowed to work. Which of course means that they will not be paid. And if workers are not paid, then they very soon will not be able to eat.

How was this ever deemed a good idea? Let us threaten the populace with starvation, that’ll make them get vaccinated. Except that is not how people work. When faced with a totalitarian, illogical, coercive government policy people do not give up. They ask questions, like if this vaccine is so great, why are they using such outrageous, undemocratic means to get us to take it?

Will this really happen? It seems so extreme that it is hard to see how it can. But maybe that is out-school thinking. A lot of extreme things have happened (house arrest for a year, anyone?) If people are put in a position where they cannot work and cannot eat, the government knows that they will protest.

If this goes ahead then the government will be provoking unrest. When people can’t feed their families they become desperate. To play with danger in this way shows that the government is set on demonising one section of society.

‘But they can just get vaccinated,’ people say in the government’s defence. But why would something as extreme as removing someone’s livelihood be done in order to make them take a vaccine? When such extreme measures are being used to achieve something, people are entitled to ask, what is going on before succumbing. Why would a government enact a no-work policy that could kill people through starvation to protect them from a virus? The solution is worse than the disease.

Worse still, people can be fined for working without the vaccine passport. So you cannot earn any money, and any money you do have is taken away in fines.

It is the most totalitarian policy imaginable, save maybe for locking people in their houses for a year. It is terrible to see what is happening in Italy. We have grown up believing that our Western governments have our best interest at heart. Here it is clear that that is not always the case. If the aim is truly to get people vaccinated, for their own good, this is not the way to go about it and not the way to engender confidence in their methods. We need governments around the world, but especially at the moment in Italy, to rethink this authoritarian bent they have all taken.

Jabber dabber doo! Government says kids are old enough to make their own decisions on vaccines

Where to start with the health secretary’s recent interview in which he says that a child’s will can override that of their parent when it comes to vaccination?

This is a government minister – a Tory minister – trashing in one sentence the centuries-old relationship between parents and their children.

Flying in the face of all previous parent-child relationships around the world, kids are suddenly to make their own decisions about their medical health.

What lunacy is this? A child is not equipped to make these decisions. Because they are – a child. Parents are supposed to make important decisions for them.

Whichever side of the vaccine debate you are on, this governmental announcement has to outrage you. It has to make you stick up a hand and say, ‘Excuse me, this is not acceptable behaviour for a government. Parents make decisions for their kids, not kids themselves.’ Otherwise, kids will suddenly be having ice cream for dinner and staying up until midnight. Every parent knows kids don’t know what is best for them.

Will this kid-centric decision making work both ways? When the parents do want the child to have the vaccination and the child doesn’t want it? Will the kid’s will be relevant then, Health Secretary?

Either way, it would be madness to allow a kid to decide, but if this allows children to overrule parents in one direction only, it makes it clear that this is just another way to get more children injected. They, after all, will suffer more from peer pressure. It is not fair to leave this decision for kids. Above all, they will not fully understand their own medical history.

This should not be allowed to happen in England.

The Freedom Trumpet: ‘People who refuse to play Russian Roulette are selfish,’ claims government minister

‘They are not thinking of the people who will be saved by them firing a bullet into their head’

Government minister Harry Lime has been supported by colleagues after his claim that people who refuse to play Russian Roulette are selfish.

Chucked out of society

‘If anything, Harry didn’t go far enough,’ Sarah Bing, minister for Billionaires said. ‘If people are not willing to play Russian Roulette then they have proved themselves to be so selfish they should be banned from football matches and nightclubs. No, they should be chucked out of society. I shouldn’t announce this yet, but we are looking to rent a reservation in Rhodesia where they could all live far from our law abiding citizens who are happy to play Russian Roulette whenever the government asks.’

Only last week

When asked if she enjoyed a good game of Russian Roulette she showed a picture of her playing the game last weekend, although critics say that the revolver was a toy and the bullets were made of cheese.

People with concerns about the vaccine are not ‘selfish’: Unacceptable in a democracy – Government minister’s language around vaccines deliberately creates an enemy

The language that the government is using to describe people who are unsure about taking the vaccine has been raised a notch today, with Michael Gove calling them ‘selfish’.

He has used these words deliberately, knowing that they will help engender an atmosphere where the unvaccinated are looked down on and regarded as different. This sort of differentiation never ends well. A government minister uses words. Others use fists.

Are people who are refusing the vaccine selfish? No. There is no way that you can define someone as selfish for being concerned about a vaccine that (a) has side effects that are well documented (b) is still in a trial phase and (c) is for a disease that most people are not at any danger of dying from.

It is not a morally acceptable for person A to have a medical intervention with possible side effects in order to protect person B. That is not how a free society works. To suggest they should accept a vaccine with any risk at all is outrageous.

This is not the way we behave in the UK. We do not force someone to have an injection for anything for the benefit of other people. Once this happens we have crossed a line. And saying that you don’t have to have it, you just can’t go to football, study, etc, etc without it, is the same as forcing it.

We are truly living through terrible times.

Diary of an unexpected dissident- Johnson makes himself unelectable and mandates vaccine passports in nightclubs

So it’s happened. The reassurances have proved to be lies and the government is introducing vaccine passports for nightclubs and large events.

Let’s just remember that we are talking about Britain, mother of the free. The country that has gone to war for democracy because it is so important and spreads freedom around the world. And here, in England, the government is saying that to live a normal life you have to sign up for government tracking.

This totalitarianism has been announced on the so-called Freedom Day, which must make even the most loyal government supporter wonder how exactly Johnson is defining freedom. At the moment is it only for nightclubs and large events, but given we were promised there would be no passports at all, who knows where it will end?

If you want to look at this policy under its own medical logic it makes no sense. Nightclubs can only let in vaccinated people, yet we know that the vaccine doesn’t stop people spreading the virus.

But more importantly, this ushers in a system which lets the government control where you go and let’s the government know where you are.

It’s temporary…yes, of course. Just like income tax was temporary.

We need to make it clear to the government that this sort of totalitarianism is not acceptable in Britain. It is an outrage of gargantuan proportions to implement any policy that forces citizens to show ‘papers’ to live a normal life.

How does a conservative government even begin to think this is a sensible idea? How can they not see the historical parallels and the dangerous direction this takes the country?

Clearly they are starting with the young, hoping to coerce them into a vaccine that is not without risks for them so that they can go clubbing.

This is clearly an outrageous thing for a government to do. Young people are not the at-risk group for Covid. If they take vaccines they don’t need, some will have bad reactions.

Don’t think that it doesn’t affect you because you don’t go clubbing. Once the vax passport is normalised it will be extended. Do you really think they have gone to this trouble for just nightclubs?

You might think that the government would never do anything that would harm its citizens. It must be doing the right thing. But remember, they have just locked us up for a year without any sort of cost benefit analysis of the policy.

What is their end game? They are implementing a policy that will give them knowledge of where everyone is and will allow them to block people from going to certain places. The control that this policy gives the government is enormous and never ending.

They would never use a vaccine passport for bad, people say. Well, even if you trust this government, and there are many reasons why you shouldn’t, how do we know what a future government might do? And the signs from this government are that they wouldn’t be averse to using such a system.

This is a terrible moment in the history of Great Britain. The French have recently endured similar pronouncements and it appears the government there has backtracked. Let us make sure the government here also has to apologise for even considering this shocking totalitarian attack on its citizens.

Diary of an Unexpected Dissident – first pub announces it will discriminate against the unvaccinated

Thurs 15 July

A pub in Norwich is in the news as the first pub to enforce vaccine passports. No entry for the unvaccinated. So it’s started and it feels sickening. Discrimination, which is so frowned upon if done by other criteria is being enthusiastically embraced. Do these people not see where this leads? Do they not see the lack of logic in admitting vaccinated people who still catch and spread the virus? The division has begun and the government is encouraging it. Rather than mandate it at the moment it praises companies that introduce it and makes them feel virtuous. The government encourages people to discriminate. What insanity we have reached.

Three weeks to flatten the curve to you can’t go to a pub without showing your papers. In less than 18 months.
